Gate services for homes, communities and businesses

New gates, repairs, and the openers and access systems that run them, for manual and automatic gates of every common type.

Gate stuck open or shut?

Most stuck gates come down to four things: power, a safety sensor, something in the way, or the opener itself. See what you can safely check in a few minutes, and when to leave it alone and call.

How it works

Three steps, whether it is a squeaky hinge or a new automatic gate.

  1. Call or send a request

Tell us what the gate is doing, or what you would like built. When you call, you are usually talking to Declan, the person who will come out to look at it.

  2. We look and give you a straight price

We check the gate, the opener, the sensors and the posts, explain what is wrong in plain words, and tell you the price before any work starts.

  3. We fix it and test it with you

We do the work, run the gate through full open and close cycles with you watching, and show you the manual release, so it keeps working long after we leave.

Where we work

We are based in Bonita Springs and spend most days within a short drive of it, from the Gulf side near Bonita Beach to the larger lots east of I-75. Salt air, sandy soil and summer storms are the same across all of it, and so are the things that wear gates out.

A gate company you can actually reach

Paloma Gate Services started small, on a simple idea: homeowners and property managers in Southwest Florida needed a gate company they could rely on, one that would not disappear after the sale or leave a job half-finished. Word of mouth did the rest.

Declan Hayes runs the business and handles a lot of the jobs himself. He is upfront about pricing, keeps the explanation plain, and would rather fix the part that failed than sell you a whole new system. His aim on every job, manual or automatic, is a gate that still works safely and smoothly long after the crew has left.

More about Declan and the company

Common questions

The basics most people ask before they call.

What kinds of gates do you work on?

Swing gates, slide gates and cantilever gates, single and double, manual and automatic. We work on aluminum, wrought iron, steel, wood and vinyl gates, on the openers and access systems that run them, and on the posts and hinges that hold them up. That covers a driveway gate at a house, a pedestrian gate by a pool, and the entrance gate of a gated community or a business.

Do you repair gates and openers you did not install?

Yes. It does not matter who put the gate or the opener in, whether a builder, another company or a previous owner. If you know the opener brand or can send a photo of the label on the operator, it helps us bring the right parts on the first trip.

How does pricing work?

Plainly. We look at the gate, explain what is wrong and tell you the price before any work starts; for a new gate you get a written estimate. A simple fix is charged as a simple fix, and Declan will not sell you a new opener or a new gate you do not need.

Which areas do you cover?

Bonita Springs and the communities around it: Estero, North Naples, San Carlos Park, South Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach, with Naples and Golden Gate when the schedule allows. The service area page has the ZIP codes and a quick ZIP checker.
